The Boat

It took us several months of intense research, but we finally found her. Sabali - which means patience in Bambara language - is a solid 40ft Jeanneau Sun Fizz capable of handling rough weather conditions and accessing remote areas. With a large cokpit and 3 double cabins (+ 1 convertible saloon), it can comfortably welcome a crew of 6 (altough initially designed to embark...11 poeple!)

Energy onboard

Extended offshore navigation requires energetic self-sufficiency. This is why we aim to equip Sabali with solar panels, a wind turbine and a hydrogenerator, in order to explore the world in a sustainable manner thanks to sunlight, wind & water.

Sabali will also be able to host an in-house lab, in order to collect multidisciplinary and precise data revealing the current state of health of our oceans. With a minimum capacity of 6 people on board, Sabali is roomy enough to welcome reasearchers and host citizen-science projects all along the way.
